
MITCHELL BAILEY
3 Time ECMA Nominated Professional Hip Hop Recording Artist
Mitchell Bailey, 23 years old, hailing from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia now living in Halifax has been writing and recording music since fourteen years old. On July 20th, 2017, he released his debut commercial project "Last Time Introducing Myself", achieving critical success such as being nominated in the "Hip-Hop Album of the Year" category for the 2018 East Coast Music Awards. To date, Mitchell has headlined tours across Eastern Canada, along with being featured on various showcases during SXSW in Austin, A3C in Atlanta, NXNE in Toronto, & POP Montreal. "Season One" peaked at #6 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Charts in Canada, & #18 throughout all genres. On November 23rd, 2018, Mitchell released his highly anticipated follow-up project "Season Two" which peaked at #4 on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts in Canada. "Season One" received a nomination for "Hip-Hop/Rap Album of the Year" for the 2019 East Coast Music Awards, making it two consecutive years he's been considered as a nominated artist. Mitchell's entire catalogue has accumulated nearly 950,000 combined streams throughout streaming platforms and he's expecting those numbers to only increase following his "Season Three" EP project and with the highly anticipated new album '23' released earlyer this year. The new record '23' has also been nominated for "Hip-Hop/Rap Album of the Year" at the East Coast Music Awards.
