Body Paint is an alternative rock band with a familiar yet unique sound. Vocalist Adam Firlotte grew up singing and performing just for the fun of it. He always loved rock music and dreamed of one day following in the footsteps of his frontman idols: Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant, INXS’ Michael Hutchence, Queen’s Freddy Mercury, and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler to name a few. His vocal influences bring forth a style that is both soothing and uplifting ranging from soft tones to belting out the high notes. One day he decided to take the plunge and auditioned for a rock band and has been hooked on writing and performing music ever since. Guitarist Pedro Pernia hails from Venezuela where he learned to hone his sound. With a range of Spanish, American, and British influences; he created a funky style reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix and the Chili Pepper’s John Frusciante. His passion and creativity make for a mind-blowing performance. Eric Lewis is a Moncton born local with bombastic drum technique. With a big punk influence, his style is sure to peak the interest of punk fans; especially Blink 182 fans. Brodie Adam’s is a recent addition to the four-piece. His skills give him the ability to quickly adapt to any sound and his wide range of musical tastes makes him an asset to the Body Paint sound. Paired with Eric, the band has a rhythm section that is both solid and diverse. If you are looking for a refreshing new band with range of styles from funk and hard rock to punk and hints of blues, along with an energetic and passionate stage performance, Body Paint is sure to deliver.
